Eradicating the Sway Bar

3. Disconnect the sway bar from the body of the car by eradicating the nuts and bolts that safe the body bushings.

4. Take away the sway bar from the car, and remove the body bushings from the sway bar.

5. Examine all of the fasteners and rubber isolators. Exchange any fasteners which can be rusted or deformed. Substitute any of the rubber isolators which might be dried out or brittle.

6. Set up the body bushings on the brand new sway bar and join them loosely to the body.

7. Set up the tip links on the lower control arms, putting one rubber isolator beneath the control arm and one above. Loosely set up the retaining nut above the topmost isolator.

8. Slide the tip links via the holes within the ends of the sway bars. Place a nut, washer and rubber isolator beneath the sway bar, and one isolator, washer and nut above the sway bar. Don’t tighten.

9. Measure to see that the sway bar is centered within the body. Regulate if obligatory.

10. Tighten all fasteners, and lower the car
